The University of La Rioja participates as Euraxess Service Centre of the Autonomous Region of La Rioja in the Spanish network of Euraxess Services Centres. (EURAXESS-Spain)

The Euraxess Service Centre in La Rioja is managed by the International Relations Unit of the University of La Rioja.

The aim of this centre is to provide information and advice to researchers coming/leaving and moving within Europe, no matter which nationality they are or which funding programme they are moving with. The objective is to help removing the barriers to researchers’ mobility.

If you are a Spanish researcher wanting to go abroad, you can access the contact points ("Euraxess Services Centres") in other European countries throughout the European Researcher's Mobility Portal.

If you are a foreign researcher wanting to come to Spain or a Spanish researcher returning, you will find a "Euraxess Service Centre" in every Spanish Autonomous Region.

The Euraxess Service Centre provides information, advice and personalized attendance about: visas, work permits, salaries, medical care, social security, accommodation, education, Spanish courses, etc .

With the aim of providing information about the stay in Spain the FECYT has edited a "Practical Guide for foreign researchers in Spain" ". The guide has been issued into two languages: spanish and english.

For foreign researchers who visit the community of La Rioja, the Euraxess Service Centre of La Rioja provides a guide with useful information about the university and the city of Logroño. This guide is available in spanish and english.

The Euraxess Service Centre is part of the European Network which gathers the specialized centres in all the countries of the Union. The objective of the network is to help removing daily obstacles that researchers and their families find when moving to, from, or within Europe.
