Welcome to the website of the Chemistry Department of the University of La Rioja.

The members of the Department are responsible for the teaching of Chemistry, Physics and related topics in the bachelor degrees in Chemistry, Enology, Education and the different of Engineering degrees of the University of La Rioja. We also participate in different Master Degrees (Chemistry and Biotechnology, Secondary Education Teaching) and mantein an active doctorate program in Chemistry aimed at the training of researchers in the different fields of Chemistry.

In terms of research, projects are developed in different fields of basic and applied chemistry, enology, as well as Applied Physics and Paleoicniology. In addition, the Department's researchers collaborate with the company through advice and participation in R & D contracts and projects with private companies and laboratories, with non-university level teachers and other university extension activities.
