José Arnáez

Dr. José Arnáez Vadillo
Professor of Physical Geography at the University of La Rioja

José Arnáez Vadillo works as a lecturer and researcher at the University of La Rioja. He has participated in several national and international projects related to land management and the environment. His key publications focus on soil erosion, land desertification and landscape dynamics. He is also interested in land planning and he has collaborated and led studies for the Administration and private companies.  He has edited several books related to geographical aspects of La Rioja. He is member of the editorial board of several scientific journals and chair of Cuadernos de Investigación Geográfica, published by the University of La Rioja. He gives courses and seminars on environmental issues.  He frequently collaborates with several media, especially with the press.
