RULES FOR PUBLICATION

1. Articles and communications sent to the journal shall be submitted in Spanish, must be unpublished texts and not approved for publication in any other entity. They shall be addressed to the journal’s Secretariat:

2. An original and two duplicate copies should be sent anonymously and accompanied by a cover sheet indicating the title of the work, the name of the author (or authors), correspondence address, e-mail and telephone number, the academic status and the name of the scientific or academic institution to which they belong. In addition the date of dispatch of the work must be stated.
3. Works shall be presented on A4 size white paper, written on one side only and with double spacing, and will be of a maximum of 25 pages in length. On the first page there must be, as well as the title in both Spanish and English, a summary in Spanish of no more than 200 words and another in English (abstract), along with the keywords of the article in Spanish and English. A copy shall also be provided in a format for computer. CDs must be submitted with the appropriate labelling and an indication of the word processing program and version used.
   Originals supplied must not be in publication format and hyphens should not be used for word division at the end of lines. The transcription and formatting of the text for publication will have to be performed later in the composition room and it will be much simpler and easier to typeset if the presentation of the original text is less complicated in format. In this respect, for example, changes in font, use of tabs, etc. should be avoided.
4. Space should not be left in the text for inserting tables, figures or charts. It is sufficient to include an appropriate reference (for example, figure 1, figure 2, etc.). all tables, figures, charts, etc. and their legends and captions will be included with their corresponding numbers at the end.
5. The author shall submit the originals of photographs and illustrations which have to be included in the text, duly numbered.
6. The way of quoting other works and the presentation of bibliographical references shall be according to the norms of the American Psychological Association (A.P.A.)
7. Footnotes shall all be grouped together at the end of the text with their corresponding unique numbering system.
8. All originals received, after analysis by the Editorial Board, will be submitted to a process of evaluation by people outside the institution. This review will be conducted using the “double blind” system, in order to guarantee the anonymity of the works and there will be at least two reviewers for each work.
9. Any originals failing to comply with these rules will be returned to the authors for the necessary modifications to be made.
10. Before final publication proofs will be sent to the author for correction. Authors must correct these proofs within not more than ten days. During proofreading significant variations or additions to the text will not be accepted.
11. The publication of articles in journals of the University of La Rioja do not entail any kind of right to remuneration.
12. For each article published, the author(s) will receive one free copy of the published volume.
13. The Editorial Board and Management of CONTEXTOS EDUCATIVOS accept no responsibility for the ideas and opinions expressed in articles appearing in the journal by their authors.

• Review and Debate clearly indicating the sources of information, as well as the conclusions or implications that can be drawn from the material studied.
• Other articles such as: innovative experiments, research into education related to different disciplines, etc.
