INGLES II

2º CURSO, 1º CUATRIMESTRE, 4.5 CRÉDITOS

OBJETIVOS:
To develop the student’s ability to use and understand appropriately the linguistic structures and vocabulary that have been taught throughout the course.
The learner must become aware of the social meaning of language forms.
The students should learn the functions and structures of the language and know how to use them adequately in different communicative situations.
It is necessary to acquire a good knowledge of specific vocabulary covering the most important aspects of tourism such as: ticket information, travel arrangements, airport procedure, in-flight announcements, cruise holidays, jobs, cabin facilities, announcements on board, check-in procedures, information for passengers, issuing tickets, travel documents, prices and facilities, tourist attractions, etc …

The three hours of weekly class is dedicated to the development of the four main skills and to the grammatical, lexical and functional units of this syllabus.
The video and CD player will be used to develop the students oral/ aural performance throughout the course.

SISTEMA Y CRITERIOS DE EVALUACIÓN:
Students are assessed by a written examination of 2 hours and a half and an oral one of 10 minutes of duration.
Course work will be submitted on demand throughout the year.
