Details about myself
- I was born in Logroño (La Rioja), in 1966.
- Bachelor in Mathematics from the University of Zaragoza (1989).
- Doctor in Mathematics since 25th May 1995. The title of my Ph. D. Thesis is
"Newton's method in Banach spaces" (in Spanish).
It was directed by the doctor
Miguel Ángel
Hernández.
- I am a member of the research group PRIENOL
devoted to the study of iterative processes and nonlinear equations and hosted in the University of La Rioja.
- Academic experience: from 1989 to 1992 I worked as a Assistant Professor of
Mathematics in the Colegio Universitario de La Rioja, depending on the University
of Zaragoza. After the creation of the University of La Rioja in 1992, I have been
working there, first as Assistant Professor, next as Associate Profesor and
since 1st October 1998 as a Full Professor in the field of Applied Mathematics.
Other questions of interest about my mathematical activity:
- I am a member of the Sociedad Española de Matemática Aplicada
(SEMA).
- I am a member of the Real Sociedad Matemática Española
(RSME).
- Every course I collaborate, together with my colleagues
